So. we had a meeting today. Maintenance/guest services meeting (we do, every Tuesday) Wherein Ken tells us about the Monday memo, things that are going on around camp. any reports from the weekend, and that kind of thing. This week we talked about the staff Christmas party. APPARENTLY, Mr.D volunteered our depts (combined) to provide entertainment. like you know sing or do a skit or something....

Dad: She ate a slug (outside)
Mom: ::Gasp:: Aye! Can't that hurt her?!?!?!
Dad: Nah, she'll be alright
Mom: are you sure?! what if it sticks to her insides??
Dad: Honey. It's a slug.
Mom: ::blank stare::
Dad: Do you know what a slug IS?!?
Mom: siiiiiiiii, it's the ones that stick to your skin! WHATIFITSTICKSTOHERINSIDES?!
Dad: ::side eye's mom::, then looks at me, then rolls his eyes, while shaking his head
Me: You missed her didn't You.

It’s Friday. ALREADY.
Today, I take mom home. ::sigh::

reasons why it’s fun when my mom stays with me:
a) when I take her shopping with me, we get FRONT ROW parking (she has a handicap sign)…is this wrong for me to like that?
b) when I take she grocery shopping with me she says:hmmm… what if I make <insert all things homemade> tomorrow? UMMM. YES.PLEASE.
My mother, she absolutely HATES all things chocolate [candy]. Not even...
